Judith Hospedales, an Immigration Attorney with actual experience working within the federal government as an Immigration Official with DHS/USCIS.
I am a duly admitted, practicing immigration attorney, and founder of the J. Hospedales Law Firm, PLLC. After graduating from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, in Long Island, NY, I went on to a career in the New York City District Attorney’s Office, Bronx County, as an Assistant District Attorney. I served there as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx for several years, assisting victims of crime, arranging plea agreements, and prosecuting criminal cases in court.
However, the desire to practice immigration law remained strong after years of helping friends and family members with their various immigration journeys. I then moved on from the District Attorney’s Office to gain more experience in immigration law. I subsequently honed my immigration skills while practicing law with several established immigration law firms. As an attorney within these firms, I represented clients in proceedings under the jurisdiction of the Immigration Courts, as well as in matters before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) (formerly also known as, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
